Honor Roll
Honor roll is a recognition for academic work. Eligible students will be named after each marking period. Students who make honor roll have their names proudly displayed on the first floor.
In order to be on honor roll a student must have:
All A’s and B’s and 1’s in behavior for grades 6 through 8.
All A’s and B’s in subject areas and behavior for grades 4 and 5.
For grades 1 through 3 the honor roll system is as follows:
First Honors Requirements:
4’s in all major subjects (Math, Science, Social Studies)
3’s and 4’s in all other subjects
All S’s and no N’s in personal and social development
Reading Instructional Level:
Must be at the following level or higher:
Grade 3 – Level P or Higher
Grade 2 – Level M or Higher
Grade 1 – Level J or Higher
Must read at least 150 books (100 book challenge)
Writing:
Grade 1 – Stage 6, Grade 2 – 18-20 points, Grade 3 – 18-20 points. PA Writing assessment domain scoring
Second Honors Requirement
3’s and 4’s in all major subjects (Math, Science and Social Studies)
